Carnival Magic

Annex, a note on the Carnival Magic, very interesting. Carnival Magic is expected to be released by Carnival Cruise Lines in May 2011. She is the sister ship Carnival Dream, and will be the second ship of the Carnival Dream class of ships. This ship is the length of three football fields, with 63% of their cabins overlooking the sea. Those cabins, 78% of them have a balcony!

Some of the highlighted features of this ship will be the Piazza (an entertainment complex, restaurants), balcony staterooms Cove, a walk outdoor wrap-around, Carnival WaterWorks (with multiple water slides), scenic overhanging Jacuzzis, Cloud 9 Spa cabins and suites, a leading Cloud 9 Spa's in the sea, and a dance club with access to outdoor deck.

Although initially Carnival Magic debuts in the Mediterranean, she eventually reposition to Galveston, Texas (November 2011), where she will start doing years back cruises from that port (7 nights alternating between eastern and western cruise itineraries).

Carnival Magic will be featuring cruises in the following regions (subject to change, based on the cruise line's discretion):

: 2011 Eastern Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Transatlantic, Western Caribbean
2012: Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean (all of roundtrip sailing from Galveston, TX)

Carnival is known for having staterooms that are larger than the industry average. All staterooms aboard this ship will come with a private bathroom, hairdryer, TV and telephone. There will be a variety of types of stateroom aboard Carnival Magic, from basic interior staterooms all the way to large penthouse suites. Among the innovative cabin categories and new ones being introduced on Carnival Magic is the Cloud 9 Spa cabins. There are connecting staterooms available on the Carnival Magic, for families and friends that want such accommodations.

Interior cabins: The most basic (and least expensive) staterooms that are planned to be aboard the Carnival Magic, known as category 1A staterooms, have upper and lower beds (bunk beds). All other (non-1A) Inside cabins have two beds that convert to a king-size bed. So make sure you book a cruise on the ship that you are aware of the type of bed you are getting in your stateroom (reservations for this ship are not yet available though). Category 4S (spa inside) cabins were introduced aboard Carnival Dream, and will also be available at the Carnival Magic.

Ocean View Staterooms: There will be several types of cabins with sea aboard Carnival Magic. Category 5A staterooms overlooking the sea will have two portholes instead of a picture window. Category 6E cabins with a sea view is a view of the ocean spa cabins. ocean view Deluxe cabins (categories 6B, 6C and 6D) have a full bathroom with shower, plus a separate bathroom with a sink and junior tub. cabins with ocean views feature twin beds that convert to a king.
